Buenas, my name is Mayra Valle. I am the author of Camino to College.

When I applied to college as a first-generation student, I had no clear understanding of what I was working toward. The destination felt exciting, but the path felt unfamiliar.

No student should have to navigate the college admissions process this way, so I set out to change it. Over the last decade, I have supported students through the admissions journey while refining the very process that once felt overwhelming to me.
